Just when...

Dear readers,

Just when I thought my day was going down hill, I said to myself "It can only get better!"
I was beginning to have the worst day. My "girly" pains kicked up a notch, I had to cook and the stove wasn't working, Antigua sun "ah breed me", then to top it off I was trying to open a pack of advil and nearly sliced off the whole tip of my finger!!! Yeah and too believe all that happened this morning in a span of 2 hrs!! Geeeeeeeez! It was just one of those mornings where I was as miserable as one can get. Unfortunately, I began taking it out on my poor brother. Sorry Deano!! But I can blame that on the mood swings -_-.

However, thinking what next I received a call that slightly made my day a little better!! A call for a potential job! I haven't gotten it as yet but it's a small step and something positive. It just goes to show that there is always a light at the end if the tunnel...even if it is just a small beam!

If you don't get everything you want, think of the things you don't get that you don't want.

Music

Just feeling this song today...

I'm Back

Hey readers,

I know it's been awhile but here I am again. I had a great adventure living in the states for a year. Made lifelong friends and had experiences I would ever dream possible. Now I'm back in Antigua ready for a new start. A new chapter to my book called "The Life of Danielle"(not literally though..lol.)

Anyway, other than that, it has been a lil tough at first. I'm back in the job hunting stage after working in Florida. Now I'm on the grind applying and applying and applying. But never lose faith huh?! Anywho...it's now time to make this blog a habit, rather than something I do only when I'm bored.

I started reading this book called "The Slight Edge". So far a very good read! What I got out of it is that it's the little positive things that you do everyday that add up to being successful and also the little things that we don't do that lead us down an unsuccessful path. They are so simple that they are both easy to do and so easy not to do. Now I reach the core of the book so now I'm focusing on the discipline and application.

So that's all I got for yah today...
